I created my vision spread below as a tool to expand on cards that were prominent in another spread and which my client and I wanted to explore further. I've found it most useful for helping to understand the root - often a subconscious element - which with further work can explain a lot! It's also about the only spread where I'm actually hoping for court cards as they fit here very well. I hope someone else finds it useful.

1. Issue or current situation. This can be the root or question card from the Celtic Cross for a follow on reading – in this case you might not want to use a significator as a lot of court cards elsewhere in this layout could be useful. If doing as the first or only spread use a significator.

2. The past – what led up to the current situation.

3. How the past has affected you or is still influencing you.

4. What (or who) is stopping you moving forward.

5. Where you want to be – your goals and aspirations.

6. Hopes and fears.

7. What (or who) can help you move forward.

8. Possible outcome.

9. Opportunity or unexpected setback – something (or someone) to look out for. don't deal this card - use the bottom card from the pile selected by the client.
