quote Lilliana> The base level of the hourglass (cards 1, 2, 3) represents things that were important in the past year and need to be reflected on. These could be people, circumstances, changes or events which affected you in some way. Think of these cards as representing the bottom of the hourglass, the sand that has already fallen and settled.

Cards 4 and 5 represent things that were recently in your life and are now fading away. They need to be released before you can move on.

Card 6 represents the present. Where you are in this moment of time. Think of card 6 as being the sand which is currently passing through the middle of the hourglass.

Cards 7 and 8 represent things which will shortly appear in your life. They might signify real events, people or changes or they might just stand for the flow of energy heading your way.

Lastly, cards 9, 10 and 11 represent the major events, possibilities and opportunities of the coming year. While cards 7 and 8 represent the smaller, immediate issues, the last cards are the BIG ONES. <
